Happy Monday Everyone!!!
Well, it's happy for me because I'm on break until Thursday. I wanted to share with y'all my new find. It's new to me at least.
It's OPI's Hong Kong Collection. I don't know how long it's been out but I have just begun to try them out. I was at Trade Secret yesterday and I saw this little 4-pack of "OPI Hong Kong Tiny Takeouts". It comes with Red My Fortune Cookie-which is described as a rich red but is actually reddish orange when dry- Dim Sum Plum-a berry pinkish purple that is very pretty- Suzi Says Feng Shui- an almost dull blue color, but it is much more pretty than what I can describe- and RapidDry Top Coat- which is just a clear shiny strong top coat. NOw I don't have much experience with OPI - I just started getting into nail polish- but I didn't put on the top coat and my nails haven't chipped yet. I am wearing Dim Sum Plum right now if you're wondering. (I also have all three colors on my toes right now just so I could see the colors. LOL- I look like a clown)
Although I am new to the nail polish world I do have a few (two) tips to share with y'all.
First, nail polish dries faster the newer it is. Don't ask me why, it just does.
Second, if you accidentally paint on your skin around your nails, it is easy to peel off either after a shower, putting on lotion, or soaking your hands in hot water. But, beware-nail polish comes off of your nails easily when you are in hot water.
I have no idea if these tips are just common knowledge, or if this is new to y'all.
Happy Belated Easter, Spring, and April 5th to you all. I'm gonna go watch the simpsons on Hulu now. :)
-Kate
PS. sorry there is two pics and that they are so small. Google it if you are curious.
